Hello! I’m an award winning filmmaker, animator and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York.

With over a decade of freelance experience, I’ve worked as a 2D animator and director for clients such as Pokémon, the NBA, 2 Chainz, Eminem & Snoop Dogg, Netflix, Showtime, Disney and the X-Games. In addition, my short films have played at a variety of prestigious festivals, illustrations have been both published and featured in prominent gallery exhibitions and I’ve served on several film festival juries.

Recently my film Buzzkill screened at over 60 festivals, winning 12 awards including Best Animated Short at Screamfest, Flicker's RIIFF Vortex, GenreBlast and Woodstock - the latter resulting in an Academy Award qualification. It’s now streaming on Screambox, Alter and as a Vimeo Staff Pick. My new film Poppa is currently playing at festivals worldwide.

These days I’m available for remote work from my home studio, which includes a large Cintiq, Adobe’s Creative Suite, a grumpy cat and all the necessary file sharing and communication tools.

Analog:Shift's "Stealing Time Itself" promo short film

I’ve been awaiting the release of this promotional film I worked on recently for vintage wristwatch company Analog:Shift and today it finally dropped!

"Stealing Time Itself" was designed by super talented creative director Ben Gallegos with original music by The Midnight. It’s a fun homage to retro spy/adventure cartoons, gadget watches and colorful storytelling.

Created in collaboration with the studio Grand Army, I animated the majority of the cel stuff on this bad boy - characters, effects, a car chase…you name it (with some stellar help towards the end from Ben and Keenon Ferrell), then someone(s) colored/cleaned my animation for what I can only imagine took many weeks. Ian Crane animated additional shots/transitions via motion graphics and handled the massive task of compositing all these vignettes together into a short that "embodies Analog:Shift’s passion for adventurous timekeeping".
